Snow Polo World Cup 2012

Following its huge success, the Federation of International Polo (FIP) has sanctioned the first ever Snow Polo World Cup to be premiered in China at Metropolitan Polo Club in February 2012. This invitational event will be double in size, and firmly places Snow Polo and Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club on the world sporting stage; at the same time it clearly endorses Tianjin as Asia’s leading polo venue. With the support of FIP, this competition will draw teams from eleven nations and one Special Administrative Region, making it one of the largest tournaments ever. Participants hail from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, France, England, Hong Kong, India, Italy, New Zealand, South Africa and the United States.

Played open, with raised handicaps and the inaugural title at stake, the entire polo world is looking to see superior play from some of the biggest names in the sport. There is no doubt that Snow Polo World Cup 2012 marks a momentous day for polo fans all over the world and, in years to come, it will undoubtedly grow from strength to strength.
